Modus Furniture print & web contract

We are thrilled to have just received confirmation that we have won the 2010/11 print and web contract for this well respected and desirable furniture brand over some formidable competition.

Work will include an all new website which promises to deliver some impressive functionality with the focus on easy in-house daily maintenance, together with the new brochure and press advertising. Our primary goal is to keep this brand's positioning while maintaining design continuity across medias.

We are please to announce that we are now offering web hosting as part of our growing selection of web design and development services.

We have used many hosts over the years, chosen by ourselves but many being the clients existing server. Some are leagues better than others, however we have yet to have found a server, that hand on heart we can rely on and truly recommend.

We have now! - having partnered with our developer partners 'Better Brief' we offer good value hosting with a server which has been primed to run our CMS of choice (SilverStripe CMS) like a dream.

Whilst we are obviously happy to work with any other server that client's wish to use, we add total server support and a level of reliability which is simply unrivaled should you choose to place your hosting with us as well as your web project (we only offer hosting services for websites we build).

Our typical package specification includes;

5gb space
Unmetered bandwidth
1 main domain name (to be purchased separately)
Unlimited MySQL databases
Unlimited email-addresses (webmail, POP3, IMAP and SMTP, FTP, SpamAssassin email filtering)

SNC Direct catalogue design makeover

We are proud to have put the finishing touches to a brand new look and feel catalogue for this leader in the sports nutrition industry.

With additional marketing direction courtesy of TA Design, the new design and concept focuses the customer on persona personalised, goal targeted product areas. The design was revised from the ground up to convey a contemporary, confident company with a tone of authority and expertise.

With an all new website launching February 2010, one of the primary goals of the catalogue design is to direct customers to all the additional benefits they can find on-line and have a clear visual continuity with the website. Results so far... one very happy client.

ACA Design Group website goes live

Another architecture website designed and built by Groundnation went live this week. The ACA Design Group have a truly impressive portfolio of award winning international work spanning several decades.

From master-plans to skyscrapers this website was a delight to work on. The site was built using SilverStripe CMS and features an easy to administer gallery system. Visit the site.

Data security

We take data security extremely seriously and have just completed the installation of advanced software on all our computers which enables us to lock data remotely should they be stolen.

This impressive software also allows us to track-down stolen computers to within 10 meters.

All our clients can rest assure that business data shared with us in the deployment of work is kept secure, even in the unlikely event of a robbery.

We have just put the finishing touches on another architecture website for Jonathan Dunn Architects which we are proud to add to our portfolio.

The JDAL website is another SilverStripe build with the added extension of an impressive image gallery feature. This enables the client to easily and quickly add new projects after completion, keeping the sites content fresh - visit the website.
